Patented 8” knife edge framing system for wall board finish creates precise forms for floating ceilings and vertical wall applications. Clean profile provides form for discrete indirect perimeter cove lighting in lobbies, corridors and offices. Use K8 prefabricated cove framing to reduce installation time compared to field built coves.

Unique two piece aluminum framing system integrates with wall to provide seamless transition from wall to cove. Cove framing wall supports fasten directly to wall framing. Lock-in framing brackets cap gypsum board on wall and support drywall skin on cove for simple, secure installation. Support brackets feature screw bosses for drywall securement plus extruded channels for a smooth plaster finish from wall through finished cove. Wall board and finish by others.

Electrix coordinates shipping with construction phases: frame products ship to arrive for wall and ceiling framing. Choose symmetric or asymmetric Electrix cove luminaires to follow during electrical installation.
