St. Louis Gateway Arch and Museum Grand Opening

Electrix was honored to light both the interior and exterior of the St. Louis Gateway Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion grand re-opening.


The national landmark went through renovations to improve the surrounding area and allow for more foot traffic. The goal was to make the ground level as brilliant as the historic Arch. Renovations include an expanded museum as the centerpiece and a redesigned park with a new land bridge over the highway connecting the arch to downtown St. Louis.


Electrix has several luminaires featured in the redesign. The small profile linear L240W was installed with custom magnetic mounts for downlighting the entrance. We customized the powerful exterior L280W fixture for curves and with adjustable aiming for landscape lighting. Inside, our iLas pocket framing and iLas asymmetric fixtures are used for wall grazing up the escalators and around the perimeter.
